To avoid misunderstandings, please read the instructions below.

Please note: Only handmade wooden slice Christmas ornaments featuring acrylic pet portraits are available for ordering on this page. If you prefer acrylic artwork in different sizes or on different formats and materials (such as canvas and stretcher, Christmas ball ornaments, or primed cardboard in a frame), please check other items in our shop.

Handmade pet portraits are crafted using high-quality acrylic paints on round wooden slices of oak with raw, rustic edges. A hanger and a minimalist bow made of thin jute twine, with a pair of artificial decorative berries attached to the bow with wire, are all secured to the wooden slice’s metal hanger loop. This completes the charming composition of your unique, personalized wooden Christmas tree decor!

The wooden base comes in one size: 8 cm (approx. 3.1 inches).

Please NOTE: In this listing, the portraits of your pets will be depicted on a plain-colored, typically white, background. There is also an option to choose your preferred color; see the ‘How to order’ section, point 4, below!
If you’d like a Christmas ornament without a background, where the portrait will be depicted on the natural texture/color of the wooden slice, please check out our store for a suitable listing.

We’ll create your portrait within 3-4 business days. After your approval of the photo proof, we’ll promptly send it to your address with free worldwide shipping. Delivery times vary by the country of destination (typically taking around 14-28 days). Please let us know if you need expedited shipping.

GIVE US SOME DETAILS:

1️⃣. Choose the number of pets you want included in the portrait.

2️⃣. Send us high-quality photos of your pet via Etsy chat or email (drawandcare@gmail.com). Ensure that your pet's face or full body is clearly visible from various angles. If you want two animals in the artwork, please provide separate photos of each pet’s face and full body.
Remember, the higher the quality of the photo, the more accurate the drawing will be.

3️⃣. Please specify whether you prefer a full-body, half-body, or headshot illustration. Keep in mind that both full and half-body options are available for depicting two animals, while single-pet wood slice ornaments can feature a headshot, half-body, or full-body portrait.
4️⃣. Select the color you would like for the plain background from the suggested options. It can be classic white or any other color you want! Just provide a screenshot, photo, or description of the desired color and send it to us along with the rest of your order details.
5️⃣. Would you like to include any accessories or additional items such as collars, pet ID tags, clothing, hats, bows, scarves, favorite toys, etc.? If so, please send us a photo of the item you would like included (or just describe it).
6️⃣. Would you like to add your pet’s name or any additional short text to your wooden Christmas ornament? You can add your pet’s name on the front side next to, above, or below the image for free. Additional text on the back, such as a gift message, date, or short quote, can be added for an extra $5 USD. Let us know if you are interested!

Please note that all details must be discussed before the work begins, and it is not possible to add a pet’s name during the drawing process.

7️⃣. To receive your Christmas wood ornament featuring an acrylic painting of your pet, please provide us with your delivery address, a valid phone number, and an email address.
8️⃣. Need your Christmas pet portrait urgently? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
