Frida Kahlo needs no introduction. She was and is still now one of the most iconic figures from Mexico. Her artistic and personal life was filled with passion and adventure.

This painting was inspired by a famous Frida photograph. She is wearing a black shawl on top of a Mexican inspired dress. She has orange-yellow flowers, and pink sequins decorating her hair. The original painting had real green glass earrings dangling on each side of her face. There is a pink flowered wall paper background contrasting with her strong features and black hair.
