ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I accept returns/exchanges on molds with defects ONLY, and only defects that were the fault of Modern Mold. Every mold is inspected before shipment, however I am human so please reach out to me if there is an issue. Kindly note that cosmetic defects such as those on the outside of the mold will not affect your resin piece and are therefore not eligible for replacement. You must contact me within 14 days of receipt of your order to report a defect. Some resins are harsher than others and may cause irreparable damage to your mold. I am unable replace molds that have been damaged by your casting material. I am unable to accept returns or order cancellations for any reason other than a defect as stated above.

Buyers may be charged duties/taxes if you are ordering from outside of Canada/US. These are the responsibility of the buyer. Please check with your country’s policies before ordering. International customers who refuse packages due to duties/taxes will not be eligible for a refund on their order. This is called a Forced Return and is not permitted.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I try to recycle as much as possible to reduce waste. Your package may be shipped in a recycled box and may contain recycled protective stuffing.

Custom and personalized orders

Unfortunately I am unable to make custom molds at this time.

Due to the situation with Covid, the mail system is slower than usual. This means your package may take longer than normal to arrive. I will assume a package is lost only after 30 days from the date of shipment for deliveries within Canada or the US. In the event a package is lost, I can provide a refund or a replacement.

Lost/Damaged Packages

REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES WILL ONLY BE ISSUED AFTER THE CLAIM IS APPROVED. For damaged packages, CanadaPost requires photos of both the damaged item and the shipping box in order to file a claim. Claims will not be filed without these photos.

A forced return is when an order is returned without authorization - such as in the case of incorrect address/return to sender, or if a package was unclaimed from the post office and was eventually RTS. In these instances, you can choose between having the package resent to you at your cost, or a partial refund. As we offer "free" shipping in North America and we partially cover the cost of international shipping out of pocket, we can only issue a refund minus the *true* cost of shipping.

Any discounts or sale prices are only applicable to items purchased during the sale period. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to past purchases.

• Do NOT use a torch with this mold! Doing so will damage the surface of the mold and can cause your resin to permanently fuse with the silicone.
• Our molds are not suitable for use with a pressure pot.
• Slow curing or harsh resins may cause your molds to wear out faster and/or lose their transparency/turn white.
Please note that I will not replace molds that have turned white due to the resin used.
