Why did I design this?

Inspired by a customer's question about compatibility between my other Guide Rail Hinge and the RIDGID Guide Rail, I realized that the end profile was different from my Festool design and that I needed to revise my original designs if I wanted to expand my product's compatibility to include DeWalt, RIDGID, and SKIL Track Saws.

With a little trial and error and a lot of perseverance, I can safely say that I have created a 3D-printed product that is strong, unique, and aesthetically pleasing.

Once you lock in your height, you can open and close the hinge knowing that it will return to the exact same location every time.
2. No more hassle to adjust and lock your guide rail securely at the right heights. The boycabrera Guide Rail Hinge will automatically adjust to the correct height when loosened and closed onto the workpiece.
