The idea of a "Barndominium" has evolved into so many different things, it's nice to get back to the basics. This Barndo plan is based on a simple building design that will keep costs down both for construction and future maintenance down. My wife points out that we sacrifice exterior "charm" but in return we've gain large interior workspaces, life connection to shop and garage spaces and it blows away the drab 8' ceilings of other homeplans with vaulted spaces that are a joy to live in. As is the case with so many *real* things in life... the beauty lies within. Note also that this is probably the most patient and kind person I've met on Etsy, extremely professional and always responds quickly. Deserves every star!
