Highlights
Deer, hind and two fawns - so elegant, graceful and proud. Carefully carved by hand, sanded, treated with natural oil and polished with beeswax from my own bees.
Wood is a very good material for small children hands, warm and smooth and made to last more then a lifetime. Form and gesture are simple and characteristic, no disturbing details, ideal for child imagination and development of fine motor skills. My wooden animals are meant to bring children close to nature, to promote in their soul awe and love towards living beings.
These four deer are much more happy together than alone. Immediately they begin to communicate and the never ending child play can begin...

Utterly magnificent. Opening the package of these hand carved deer took my breath away. The smell, the smooth sanding, the wood, the detail work. These deer will be gifted during a proposal, and I couldn’t have chosen a better shop to order from. I spent hours searching on Etsy for the perfect hand-carved deer family — and these are truly beautiful. Shipping took about 4 weeks to receive to the US (not the sellers fault, it’s just how shipping goes!). But it’s worth the wait!! Utterly magnificent! I should also mention that I am also a Waldorf teacher, and will most definitely be ordering some more for my classroom!
