In order to be able to use this image on your kindle lock screen, you have to send the file to your kindle app and then sync your kindle. This image should appear as a cover option in your library within a few minutes.

In order to set as your lock screen you have to click on the image before putting your kindle to sleep (every single time after reading since there is no permanent option).

Make sure your “show covers on lock screen is turned on”
You can check by going to your kindle settings - screen and brightness- and turn on “ show covers on lock screen”
