Bring warmth, greenery and handcrafted character into your home with this bespoke wooden beam chandelier, designed and handmade in our Devon workshop.

Created specifically for displaying plants above your kitchen island, dining table or open-plan living space, this rustic beam light combines practical lighting with natural styling. Every chandelier is made to order using reclaimed timber.

Unlike mass-produced lighting, every MooBoo Home fixture is individually handcrafted and tailored to your home. We work with you to finalise timber finish, cable colours, component finishes and sizing so your chandelier feels completely unique to your space.

Designed for Plant Display

The 22cm wide reclaimed timber creates a generous platform for styling artificial or live plants above the fixture.

This listing is for our WATER-RESISTANT version designed to accommodate living plants.

Important Water Resistance Information

⚠️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This is NOT an IP65 waterproof fixture and is not suitable for outdoor use.

To improve resistance against accidental drips:

Waterproof compound is used within the junction areas
Cable entry points are sealed
Timber is protected with waterproof coatings
Lamp holders are treated to help resist occasional splashes

However:

Lamp holders are NOT fully waterproof
Plants must NOT be watered whilst on the fixture
Plants should always be removed before watering
Pots must be sealed with NO drainage holes
Water must never be allowed to pool on the timber

If you require a fully waterproof IP65 version using specialist oversized waterproof lamp holders, please message us for a custom quotation.

You will receive photos and videos of your actual timber for approval before production begins.

We offer over 200 Italian fabric cable colours alongside a wide range of traditional and modern metal finishes.

If you are trying to match existing furniture or cabinetry, feel free to send photographs of your room in daylight and we can colour test finishes on your chosen timber.

Standard supply includes:

Two individual ceiling hooks
Matching hanging hardware

Included Drop Lengths

The fixture price includes:

50cm chain above the timber
50cm cable drop below the timber

Overall maximum drop is calculated as:

50cm chain + timber depth + 50cm cable + bulb length

Additional lengths are available:

Extra chain: £15 per metre
Extra cable: £6 per metre
Bulbs

Bulbs are NOT included because decorative LED bulb pricing varies greatly depending on:

Size
Shape
Glass colour
Brightness

We are always happy to test bulbs in your completed fixture and send photographs before you decide.

Measurements We Need From You

To ensure your chandelier is perfectly proportioned, we will ask for:

Ceiling height
Furniture dimensions below the light
Clearance requirements
Height of the tallest person in the household

We can then produce a scale plan before wiring begins.

Lead Times & Handmade Process

Every MooBoo Home chandelier is handmade to order in our Devon studio.

We do not mass produce our lighting, and lead times reflect the handmade nature of our work and our current order queue.

Please check the estimated delivery dates shown within Etsy before ordering. If you are working to a deadline, message us first for current lead times.

Once ordered, you will receive access to our online client queue where you can track the progress of your fixture and view the orders ahead of yours.

If your renovation is happening before your chandelier will be ready, we strongly recommend adding our Advance Wiring Kit. This allows your electrician to install hooks and electrical components in advance, saving time and reducing installation costs later.

Installation

Full installation instructions are included.

A competent DIY installer should have no issue fitting the light, although we always recommend consulting a qualified electrician if unsure.

Our chandeliers are individually handmade and not mass-produced, therefore complete fixture UL listing is not provided. This is common for artisan residential lighting products.

Commercial installations may require additional certification depending on local building regulations.

Returns & Cancellations

As each chandelier is made to order to your specifications, returns are not accepted unless the fixture is faulty.

If a fault occurs, please contact us within 6 months of delivery and we will repair and return the item as quickly as possible.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
