Seller's description

Cosplaying mother of dragons? Wrap yourself in this beauty, or be subtle and just see how long it takes to get noticed!
***ALERT! There was an error in the spreadsheet that was amended 25/4/25. Every row should start with "1dc", NOT "2dc, ch1".

This is a detailed tutorial (written instructions accompanied by photos and spreadsheet) of a shawl that cunningly conceals a wings-spread dragon. Feeling lonely? Not anymore! And YES, it’s beginner-friendly, I promise. Using chain, dc and hdc, you too can make a fire-breathing friend.
(want to see the first few rows in action? go here! https://youtu.be/augGohkRZHU?si=rxQoXV3FKMfQUH4t)

This tutorial shows Hobbii cotton kings Sultan Shadow in use with a 3.5mm hook. You can use literally ANY fibre and hook size for this pattern, but please be aware altering the hook size will embiggen or shrinken your finished work.
P.S. pattern is in US terms!

Why are there TWO pdf files? Simple! One is a spreadsheet and chart that summarises the action in each motif row. It's print-friendly and I suggest you print it or save it to an e-reader to use after I walk you through the first few rows. The other is a detailed pdf with written instructions and a hundred photos (ok, not quite but nearly) that show you where to put every stitch.

Of course, you can make your shawl to any size and dimension you like - and I would LOVE to see your finished masterpiece!. If you are a social media buff, help me keep creating by sharing your finished make in your groups or via IG- and tag me!
Please do not share, sell or copy any part of this pattern. You are welcome to gift or sell your make. Please credit me, KeepCalmandCrochets, as the designer of this pattern. Thank you for your support and happy crocheting!
