What are pin grades and what do they mean?

Pin grades represent how a pin-maker categorizes their pins based on a letter scale, typically from their highest quality pins to their lowest quality pins. ****How a pin maker grades their pins vary between shops because they are graded subjectively according to a shop's existing personal standards. Pins may commonly be rated as A-grades, B-grades, C-grades, and Seconds grades. In general- A-grades: Have little to no visible flaws B-grades: Have a few minor flaws C-grades: Have flaws that are more noticeable Seconds: Are typically the lowest quality pins out of a pin batch with visible flaws that stand out more
