Argentina Hand Painted Salad Plates and Ruffled Bowls - 1990’s - Tabletop Galleries - Hand Crafted Dinnerware

Beautiful Hand Painted Ruffled Soup Bowls with matching Salad plates from the Argentina series by Tabletops Gallery.

These are gorgeous, ethnically vibrant pieces embellished with bands of yellow orange, colbalt blue, olive green, burgandy, and cream punctuated with black diamonds, dots, and rectangular blocks. The combination is eye catching and truly stunning allowing all kinds of mixing and matching for an ethnically themed table scape.

The bowls are large and substantial, able to hold up to 2 cups of your favorite chili or stew. They’d also work as serving bowls for the fixings of a taco bar or some other multiple condiment need. I love the vibrant yellow orange saturating the insides which makes whatever it holds truly pop.

The salad plates compliment the bowls perfectly either as a tray for the bowls or on their own for salads or deserts. They’d also be a lovely eye popping display mixed into a plate wall.

CONDITION:
Condition of these pieces are near perfect with almost no signs of use except for a few minor utinsel marks on the plates, and very mild crazing on the outsides which I didn’t even find till I took their picture.
One of the bowls has a chip on the outside rim of the bowl which had been repaired, but still very useable, but reflected in the price. (See pic.). They are all still shiny, bright and new looking ready to make your tables burst with warm inviting color.

I have loved vintage treasures since I was a small girl, and do my best to research and describe my items to the best of my ability. I am not an expert though. If you know something more than I about a piece please pass it on.
