"Parts of" activities are staples in every Montessori classroom. This DIY pumpkin puzzle helps children learn about the parts of the pumpkin through hands-on manipulation. The included labels can be cut out, laminated, and matched to the felt puzzle parts.

This felt pumpkin puzzle is fun, easy, and inexpensive to make. It can be completed in less than an hour! When it is time to rotate it off the shelf, place it in a large envelope or ziplock bag and store it in a drawer or closet.

When finished, this apple puzzle is approximately 10x10 inches.
Materials:
- Three (3) 10x14-inch orange felt sheets (skin, strands, and ribs)
- Two (2) 10x14-inch gold felt sheets(pulp)
- 4x10-inch cut of forest green felt (leaf)
- 4x10-inch cut of brown felt (stem)
- 18-inch cut of forest green yarn (vine and tendrils)
- 4x4-inch cut of off-white felt (seeds)
- Wooden popsicle stick

Note: Larger cuts of felt can be found in most fabric stores.

I bought the pumpkin puzzle to go with the apple puzzle I also bought from this seller. I plan to make a fall harvest learning theme for my great granddaughters. The two puzzles will go great with it and for any time they want to play with it. I'm happy with my purchase.
