A beautiful and rare head of an antique boudoir doll from the 1920s–1930s — the Roaring Twenties in its most theatrical form. This type of doll, also known as a salon doll or "bed doll," was placed on the bed or chaise longue in French and Spanish boudoirs in the 1920s as a fashionable showpiece. Not a toy, but a work of art.

This head tells the story of Pierrot — the melancholic, moonlit lover from the commedia dell'arte. With her hand-painted, sideways-looking eyes, cherry-red cupid lips, and soft lavender eyeshadow, she is the personification of Art Deco glamour. Details:
