For sizing - if you want it to sit tightly on your body, I would go with your regular size. If you want it to sit a bit more loosely I would size up one or two sizes.

For this sewing pattern elastic fabrics are recommended like jersey, cotton spandex, cotton knit or Lycra. It is designed to be reversible that’s why I would choose a lighter fabric for this pattern.
