2 fishing rod rack designed to securely mount to the infamous YETI® TUNDRA® cooler

The rod holders themselves are injection molded with UV stabilized HDPE plastic. This ensures the rod holders will hold up over years on the water and under the intense sun.

The frame is made of laser cut and precision bent Aluminum for increased strength and rigidity, while remaining lightweight. The cut profile allows for use of the handles and tie-down straps with the rod holder installed, so there is no loss of functionality. The frame hangs from the ANCHORPOINT tie down slots. And when the lid is closed, its lightly pinched between the lid and cooler body and eliminates any movement in the rod holder.

The unit is assembled with stainless steel hardware to help prevent corrosion in saltwater environments. There are also two rubber feet at the bottom to provide grip to the rod holder and prevent damage to the TUNDRA® cooler.

The optional gimbal cross-pin interfaces with the rod butt and prevents it from sticking out the bottom of the rod holder. The gimbal cross-pin comes with a stainless lock nut but its fully removable.

Obviously, the weight of whatever you put in the YETI® TUNDRA® cooler (water, ice, etc.) determines the stability of the rod holder. So, if your not just using the rod holder for rigging up, baiting, rod storage…but really want to use it for fishing casted baits, then we recommend testing that the drag of your fishing reel isn’t enough to pullover the cooler or bend the frame when pulled from the end of you line.
