Antique French black silk top hat from the Victorian and Edwardian era's.
Black silk collapsible top hat (great for travel) with silk interior. Makers
stamp in gold on the interior underside.

Hat is a smaller sizing typical for a period hat with a 21 5/8" circumference,
5.75' height. 1.75" brim width (tapering upwards at the sides).
Side to side is 6 1/8" interior width and 5 5/8" front to back.

Pretty amazing condition for the age with a little dust and edge and rim wear.
Folding mechanism is strong and working well with a good spring. It does
not have its' original box. There is a faded owners initial on the interior as well.

Great authentic period piece.
