What is Godsnorth and what do you sell?

Godsnorth is a handmade wood carving workshop creating mythology-inspired wooden statues and sculptures. We specialize in Norse, Viking, Slavic, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Aztec, and other ancient mythological figures designed for collectors, altar decor, and symbolic interior spaces.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We offer worldwide shipping with tracking whenever available. For USA customers, we cover import duties and customs fees, so no additional charges are paid upon delivery.

What materials are your statues made from?

Our statues are carved from ash tree, a durable hardwood known for strength, stability, and excellent carving properties. In Norse tradition, ash wood is associated with Yggdrasil, the World Tree, symbolizing connection between worlds, resilience, and spiritual depth.

Are your statues handmade or mass-produced?

All pieces are individually handmade and hand-finished. We do not use mass production. Each sculpture is unique due to natural wood grain and traditional carving techniques.

What mythology and styles do you work with?

Our work is inspired by Norse mythology, Viking culture, Slavic pagan traditions, Egyptian gods, Mesopotamian deities, Aztec symbolism, and dark mythological archetypes. Each piece is an artistic interpretation and symbolic artwork, not a religious object.

Can I order a custom mythology statue?

Yes. We accept custom commissions for Norse gods, Slavic spirits, Egyptian deities, Aztec-inspired figures, and original mythology-based designs depending on complexity and feasibility.

Are these statues suitable for altars or spiritual spaces?

Yes. Many customers use our sculptures for pagan altars, meditation spaces, mythology-inspired decor, and symbolic home displays.

Do you have any statues in stock in the USA?

Yes! If a listing indicates "Ships from USA," that item is in stock in the USA for fast delivery to North American customers. All other items are handcrafted at our workshop in Ukraine and shipped directly to you. We package every piece with extreme care, regardless of where it is shipped from.

Tu'er Shen or -Rabbit God‖ is a rather unusual character in Chinese mythology who is a god of homosexual love. His name combines the Chinese word for rabbit, tù, and sheng, which means deity or god.The legend of Tu'er Shen dates back to the Qing Dynasty. According to the main version, a young man named Hu Tianbao fell in love with a handsome imperial inspector. Because of his love, he was executed, but after his death, he appeared in the inspector's dream and told him that the Jade Emperor, the supreme god in Chinese mythology, had made him the god of homosexual love.Tu'er Shen is revered as the protector of homosexual couples, who is approached for blessings and support. He is a symbol of acceptance and understanding. He is usually depicted as a young man with a rabbit or rabbit ears attributes, symbolizing his divine nature and origin. Although the cult of Tu'er Shen is not widespread, its significance to the LGBT+ community in China and Taiwan is important. It symbolizes the acceptance of love in all its forms and promotes tolerance and support for diversity.
