This is an English pocket watch movement

The movement is a half hunter, stem wound / pin set.

The movement has a good balance and spring and will tick

Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “J W Benson, Ludgate Hill, London, The Field, Best London Make, By Warrant to the Queen I8657”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some small marks and scuffs

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel half hunter hands and is signed “J W Benson, London”. The dial is in 100% mint condition. Even the hands have their original bloom

The movement measures 43mm x 8.5mm
