What happens if my item is STOLEN after it is delivered?

If there is proof of delivery (the USPS shows a successful delivery) I do not refund or replace items. Please open a help ticket so it can be escalated to etsy and they can provide a refund through the etsy purchase protection service.

Will I get a refund if my package is "returned to sender"?

USPS works very hard to insure packages get delivered properly. In the event that you have entered an incorrect address on your package and USPS has marked the item "return to sender". I will refund he cost of the hats. Please note if the package has been opened or the product has been used no refund will be issued. Refund will be for the item(s) only, I do not refund the cost of shipping.

What happens if USPS delivers my package late?

I do not refund packages that are delivered after the USPS estimated dates. I unfortunately can not control the post office, I do always ship order out on time and sometimes early to insure packages are placed into USPS hands on time. Please reach out to me prior to placing an order if you have any questions around delivery timelines (please also include your shipping zip code as this is the only way I can see USPS estimates). When in doubt, place your orders early and select a service that has guaranteed delivery dates.

Help! I need my hat quickly!

Birthdays have a tendency to sneak up on us- it happens! My shop makes each hat made to order, meaning I need time to make your hat before I ship it out (yes every single hat and pom are made by my hands and then assembled by me). With that in mind if you have a very specific date in mind, ALWAYS include that in the message area of checkout. This allows me to prioritize my orders and check usps estimates against your needs. Please also select a shipping service that makes sense for your rush needs. If your birthday won’t be complete without the hat or item from my shop, please consider upgrading your shipping to priority express (this is the ONLY service USPS guarantees delivery times for).

My formative graphic design days were spent slinging ink into a gutenberg press so this image to CMYK feels right! Fun for kids to learn about color mixing too ;)

Patch dimensions: about 2.25 inches wide x 2.25 inches tall.
Please note that these are hand-cut so there may be some very small differences in sizes.

I created these mini patches with a few things in mind... personalization is fun, I drip things on my clothing all the time and my kiddo gets holes in his clothes before he's done with wearing them. I like to use these to decorate and personalize my belongings and I also use them on holes or stains to get additional wear out of favorite items. Tested successfully on my 7 year olds clothing :)

This patch was created from one of my own personal illustrations and then stitched with my embroidery machine. High quality embroidery thread is used and a thin layer of iron on material is already attached to the back of the patch for quick and easy use (do not remove the shiny backing off the patch - this is the iron on material). Patch is made of polyester felt.

Instructions for Iron on:
Set iron to heat setting appropriate for your clothing material (as hot as your fabric allows)
Cover patch and ironing board with a piece of thin scrap fabric (Rag, paper towel etc)
Press iron completely over the patch and press for about 5 seconds (depending on your heat setting).
Allow to cool ** This step is very important to insure adhesive has appropriate time to adhere to your item.**
Warning : Holding the iron on your patch too long can overheat the adhesive! Please insure you hold no longer than 10 seconds - please adjust accordingly depending on your fabrics care instructions (example - if you are trying to apply your patch to an item of clothing that says it should not be ironed - do not apply a patch since the application process - your iron - might damage your article of clothing).

Washing instructions:
Use warm or cold water and medium or low dryer settings. Frequent exposure to hot/high temperatures may affect the iron on material over time.
