Can you make customized products?

In principle, this is possible, but only for larger order quantities. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us. An exception to this are large pieces of furniture made of solid wood or rattan. Here it is also possible for you to order products made individually according to your wishes from us, starting from just one piece. If, for example, you saw tropical-style chairs on vacation that you can't get elsewhere in your country and that you just can't get out of your head, please send us an inquiry.

Where are your products made?

The designs created by Claudia are implemented in Indonesia by experienced artisans using sustainable materials. When selecting our production partners, we pay attention to fair wages, reasonable working hours and safe working conditions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits.

Are your products handmade?

Both the manufacturing process of our products and the harvesting and processing of the plant raw materials are carried out entirely by hand in the traditional way.

How much are the shipping costs?

Shipping within German is free. We charge reasonable shipping costs for shipping to other countries that cover the price difference to shipping to Germany.

When will I receive my order?

Shipping within Germany takes 1 to 3 working days. It takes about 3 to 7 working days to other European countries and 2 to 4 weeks to North America.

How can I check the shipping status of my order?

Orders are dispatched within one working day. As soon as this is done, we will send you an email that contains the DHL shipment number and a tracking link as well as the invoice for your order.

Can I exchange or return my order?

Yes, as long as the goods are still labeled and in the same condition as when you received them. You have 30 days from the time you received the goods to submit a return request. You will receive a possible refund of the purchase amount no later than a few days after we have received the return.

Can the products also be used outside?

As long as they are protected from moisture, all of our products can also be used outside. They do not mind frost or heat.

The seagrass used by our production partners grows in dense meadows on the seabed in coastal areas of the Indian Ocean. The long, flexible leaves are carefully harvested by hand, cut into narrow strips, and then gently dried. ➤ Our production partners: Selected according to fair trade criteria

This bag is handmade in Bali, Indonesia.

When selecting our local production partners, we emphasise fair payment, safe working conditions and reasonable working hours. We work exclusively with small family businesses that have a maximum of 20 to 30 employees. They are all experienced craftspeople of legal age. Older people in particular, who can no longer work in agriculture, benefit from jobs in handicrafts, allowing them to use the skills they have learnt from an early age to earn money and pass on traditional production methods to the younger generation. They have often told us how happy they are to be able to create something meaningful with this work and earn a good living. As all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.

➤ The production process: From raw material to finished bag

To create our Kidul bags, a portion of the seagrass fibers is first dyed black. Skilled artisans at our production partners in Bali, Indonesia, then carefully weave the fibers by hand around a specially crafted wooden frame that determines the exact shape and size of the bag. The dyed and the natural fibers are artistically arranged in a striped pattern. Each bag takes about three hours to complete.
