Vintage Abraham Lincoln Bookends, Seated on a Chair, Reading a Book

Wonderful pair of metal bookends. They are solid, heavy, and have an aged bronze finish. They feature Abraham Lincoln sitting on a bench, legs crossed, reading a book on his lap. The back of his bench reads "Lincoln".

There is no founder's mark or maker's mark, and I'm not sure of the metal composition, but these are heavy, but not as heavy as they would be if they were solid cast iron or bronze. The bottoms are lined with red felt.

The condition is very good. One of them has a repair, as it looks like the head became detached. It has been glued back on securely, and very hard to notice (see close up photos). Price adjusted for condition.

They are very attractive and classic looking. Great addition to your library!
