This homemade potpourri keeps my house smelling great all year long. It also makes the perfect gift for any occasion! Great for hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, gifts for holiday exchanges, coworkers, neighbors, and teachers. A popular customer appreciation item for real estate agents and other businesses as well.

Great for a recipient with scent sensitivities as this is all natural with no chemicals or synthetics. It’s also pet friendly! We only use quality dried fruits, herbs, spices and flowers (most of which are grown and dried by me!) that release their scent over time and fill your home with bliss.

Directions: Add contents of simmer pot kit to a small pot of hot water and simmer on the stovetop or in a crockpot (the faster and longer it simmers, the stronger the fragrance). We recommend starting at a boil and then decreasing to a simmer adding more water as needed so the pot doesn’t dry out. It takes a couple hours for the scent to reach full peak so please be patient. This item can be used up to 3-4 times or until the scent fades. When finished for the day, let cool, cover and refrigerate(do not drain the water). When finished permanently, simply throw away the remains outside after draining the water or add them to your compost pile to return them back to the earth.

Dimensions of packet: 4 inches x 4 inches - 4 inches x 6 inches depending on the mix as some items are bigger than others.

Kits are made by hand so no 2 kits will look exactly alike.

Packaged in a resealable, food-safe, recyclable, a non-toxic environmentally-friendly cellophane bag. I also add a strip of tape to seal it better.

Shelf life: approx. 1 year shelf life. Each ingredient is dried and will store well if kept in a cool dry place.
