Will I have to pay customs fees or import duties if I’m in the USA?

No, all U.S. orders ship with prepaid tariffs and duties, which means you won’t have to pay anything extra on delivery. The price you see at checkout is the final price.

🚚 Orders ship from the UK using either Royal Mail or Transglobal Express with USPS. Most deliveries arrive within 10–21 working days, though occasional customs processing may cause delays. Etsy’s delivery estimates can sometimes be a little optimistic, so please allow the full timeframe.

What's the difference between matte and satin paper?

Satin paper offers a gentle sheen, somewhere between matte and glossy, that gives the artwork a slight shine. This finish enhances the vibrancy and depth of colors, making them pop without being overly reflective. It’s a great choice if you want your prints to stand out with a bit more brightness and contrast. Matte paper has a flat, non-glossy finish that gives prints a smooth and elegant look. It’s great for reducing reflections and glare, which makes it easier to see details from any angle. The colors on matte paper tend to appear softer and more muted.

What is the paper weight used for the prints?

GSM stands for "grams per square meter" and it’s a measurement of the paper's weight and thickness. The higher the GSM number, the heavier and thicker the paper will be. For example, standard printer paper is usually around 80-100 GSM, while high-quality art prints use paper in the range of 200-300 GSM or higher. Satin paper is often heavier than matte because it typically has a coating that gives it its signature slight shine. This coating adds to the paper's overall weight and thickness For our prints we use: Satin Prints 4x6, 7x5, A4, A3, A3+ - 280 GSM 6x8, 8x10 and 8x12 - 250 GSM A5 - 300 GSM Matte Prints 7x5 - 10X8 - A4 - 220 GSM A3 and 13x16 - 240 GSM

Where can I find frames for your prints?

The frames shown in my display examples are often baroque or ornamental styles. You can search online for "baroque frame" or "ornamental frame" to find similar options. For customers in the USA, finding frames for A4 or A3 prints is easy, but make sure to search online specifically for "A4 frame" or "A3 frame" instead of using the measurements. This approach will help you find suitable and affordable options more efficiently.

Highlights

Designed by VGBStudio
Materials: Giclee, Fine Art Paper

Etain stands at a riverbank in a green gown with butterflies around her and the sun low behind the trees. Celtic wall art in green and gold.

Etain is turned into a butterfly by her husband's first wife, out of jealousy, and blown around Ireland on the wind for a thousand and twelve years. She is a pool of water first, then a worm, then a purple fly with wings that make music, and Midir carries her about in a crystal bower until Fuamnach raises a wind that takes her away again. Eventually she falls into a cup, is swallowed by a queen, and is born again as a mortal woman with no memory of any of it. The butterflies in this picture are not decoration. They are what she was.

In "A Thousand Years on the Wind", she has her back to us with her head turned down and away, so you get the gown before you get the face. It is deep green silk shot through with gold embroidery, one sleeve slipped off the shoulder, the skirt spreading out across the grass and flowers until you cannot tell where the cloth stops and the meadow starts. Her hair is copper and comes down past her waist with small white flowers set into it. Three butterflies are with her, one blue, one dark, one red on her sleeve. Behind her the river runs flat and gold under a sun that has just about gone, and the whole bank is packed with yellow and orange wildflowers painted thick.

Printed on high-quality archival fine art paper and available in matte or satin finish. The matte finish gives a softer, more muted look with reduced glare, while the satin finish adds gentle sheen and slightly richer colors, allowing details and highlights to stand out more clearly. Frame not included.

For Giclee prints up to A4 size we ship them flat unless they are ordered alongside a larger print. For larger sizes we carefully roll and package them in a protective tube for safe delivery. Please note that frames are not included.

Every print is created, checked and packaged by me in my Liverpool studio. Each order is prepared with close attention to detail so your artwork arrives safely and beautifully presented. All parcels are shipped using tracked services for reliable delivery from England to your home.

I create and develop my artwork using digital painting and compositing techniques with a graphics tablet and professional design software. My creative process also incorporates digital tools such as custom brushes and AI-assisted tools, with each piece manually refined and finished by me to achieve the final artwork.

Please be aware that the colors, brightness, contrast, saturation and vibrancy of the artwork may vary across different screens and devices. The printed image may look different from what you see on your screen due to these variations. Although my prints accurately reflect the original artwork, I have no control over the display settings of individual devices which can influence how the artwork appears.

Please note that I create my original artwork in different proportions, so small adjustments are sometimes needed when fitting them to different print sizes. All key elements of the artwork always remain fully visible and true to the original design.
