COMBO PDF Patterns for Edwardian Walking Skirt and Puff Sleeve Blouse Designed to fit 18 inch dolls

This listing is for two patterns by Ann Van Doren Designs for an 18" doll Walking Skirt and a Puff Sleeve Blouse as worn by a young girl in America in the early 1900's.

Blouse is a style worn by a young American girl in the early 1900's. The bodice flows to the waist from small tucks at the neckline. "Leg of Mutton" style puff sleeves close with tiny buttons and loops at the wrist. It is modeled by my doll who measures 11 1/2" under her arms (chest) and 11" at the waist. Please measure your doll before printing the pattern. If your doll measures larger than my doll, you may want to print the pattern slightly larger than 100%.

The Skirt style flows to the ankle with two side gores and a gathered or pleated back. Options are included for soutache decoration at hem or along seamlines. Directions include adjusting the waistband to fit your doll.
Two different belt styles are included.

The patterns include step-by-step instructions with large full color photographs for each step and is suggested for intermediate level sewers who are already familiar with standard sewing terms and techniques. Text summaries are also included if you prefer not to print out the photographs. They are available as an instant downloadable pdf file and print out on standard 8 1/2 x 11" paper.

Blouse Fabric and Notions required:
•1 Fat Quarter or ¼ yard
•12-14 mini buttons (1/4")
•3” Elastic button loop tape with ½” spacing or 12" 1/32-Inch Elastic cord (Dritz Thin Beading Cord Elastic)
•15-18" narrow lace (3/8" wide)
•2 - 7" x 3/4" strips of iron-on interfacing (optional)
•Thin velcro (Optional)

•Soutache braid (optional) View A: 40”, View B: 36”
•Fabric scraps for belt
•Bias binding 1” wide by about 36” long for hem
•Tube turner for belt
•Fray Check or Fray Block

Suggested Fabrics: Light weight wool, linen, silk or cotton. Not suitable for knits.
