The MOKU-NUNO Towelket is the world’s first wood fabric waffle blanket, created using wood from trees felled during forest thinning that has been processed using techniques similar to those used to make traditional Japanese paper, or washi.

Moku-Nuno Fabric is the first fabric in Japan to be recognized for the way it is manufactured by using coniferous trees in an environmentally friendly way, by using trees that are felled during thinning, which helps to regenerate forests.

**For those with allergies, pollen allergies are a reaction to the proteins that make up pollen, while tree fiber (cellulose) is a single polysaccharide that does not contain pollen proteins. Tree fiber (cellulose) is considered a safe and natural material that rarely causes allergies. Only the purest fiber components are extracted for MOKU-NUNO and any substances that often cause contact allergies are removed during the manufacturing process. MOKU-NUNO towel blankets are made mainly from tree fibers, if you have skin sensitivity to wooden or paper products such as pencils, we recommend that you refrain from using this product. In the eight years that we have been selling Wood-Cloth, there has been no report of allergies to Wood-Cloth or MOKU-NUNO products to date.
