2 ounces is shown in every picture, including oversized bag it comes on. Great variety of colors.
order is for 2 ounces.
This product goes along perfectly with the theme of my shop..which is respecting the earth and environment. These beautiful threads are recycled from the mills in India ...when the workers are changing out the looms for a new color batch of saris.
They would of ended up in a land fill...instead, they not only create jobs for the women's co op groups to support their families...they are a fair trade product, no child labor is involved.
This order is for one ounce.
Instead, we get to enjoy these soft and silky threads that can be used in a variety of ways...I use them in felting...the threads rapidly combine with the wool and give great texture. I also spin yarn..and make batts and it adds so much color and shine. It can be embroidered, made into silk paper, stiffened for fiber arts, used as doll hair, etc.
I am passionate about animal rights, fair trade, women's rights and the environment. My wool is bought from animal sanctuaries, and silk products are recycled. Thanks for stopping by my shop and reading this far.
