Where are your blankets made?

At Ecuadane, we are proud to work with a family of highly skilled artisans in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. Our founder, Cathy Lund, is originally from Ecuador and has direct ties to the artisans who craft our blankets, ensuring authenticity and quality in every piece. Additionally, our wool and alpaca throw collection comes from the finest craftsmen in Ireland and Peru.

How do I know the blankets are authentic?

Unlike many competitors who claim to offer "Ecuadorian blankets," we have genuine roots in Ecuador. Our founder’s family is from Ecuador, and we work closely with local artisans to bring you authentic, high-quality products that celebrate the country’s rich cultural heritage.

What does your lifetime warranty cover?

Our lifetime warranty reflects our commitment to the quality and craftsmanship of every Ecuadane product. We cover any manufacturing defects, including stitching or material quality issues. To keep your blanket in excellent condition for years to come, please follow our standard cleaning and care instructions (see below).

How do I care for my blanket?

To ensure the longevity of your blanket, please follow these care instructions: Southwest Collection: Cleaning: Wash by hand or machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Drying: Tumble dry at low temperatures or air dry. Southwest Care: New blankets may shed initially, but this will subside after a couple of washes. We recommend giving your blanket a brush after prolonged use or after washing. You can also purchase the appropriate brushes in our shop to maintain your blanket’s softness and appearance.
