LISTING above is for a custom made-to-order Teddy Bear of 22 inches in length. This Teddy Bear will be made from military or other uniform specific clothing; EMT, police, etc., whether dress shirts, pants or daily work uniforms. I will incorporate as many details as possible, including military patches, i.e., rank, American flag, stripes, etc. and special buttons or other insignia to the bear that is provided to me, and where possible on the bear. At the moment I do have a few American flag patches to use up, as shown on the 1st bear above.

OPTIONAL Memorial Patch: A hand-embroidered (cross-stitch) memorial patch with the phrase "This is a shirt I used to wear. When you hold it, know I am there. Love, XXX" or something similar. This is shown in the photo above. Please add this option at checkout when you purchase the bear. This is also hand made by me. This patch will be placed on the back of the bear.

OPTIONAL: USA Flag Patch: I have these available at this time and I will put it on your bear for only $1.00. The listing doesn't allow it to be free. Sorry. Please check this box if you want it added to your bear. Please note, the flag will only go on the arm below the elbow as this is where it fits. See photo above.

I NEED FROM YOU:

~~ Desired fabric(s) for bear, uniform shirts and/or pants and they must be clean and in quality condition to sustain future use and wear. I will use buttons, collars, and pockets from an existing shirt and apply them to the bear, if possible. (Fabric must be clean and odor free, as I am allergic to strong odors and dust mites, which live in worn, unclean clothing. Thank you).

~~ Size L or XL shirts = for 22" bear; long sleeved shirts are better.

~~ Size M or S shirts = for 22" bear, long-sleeved shirts are better. Short sleeved shirts may require 2 shirts for 1 bear, especially if shirt is Small.

I will provide:

~~ Fabric for nose and buttons for eyes, polyfill for stuffing and matching threads.

Allow 2-3 business days for construction of 1 bear after purchase and arrival of required fabrics. Each bear takes considerable time to cut and construct. Scheduled time for production will always be dependent on what is in the queue when you order.

NOTE: ALL photos above are of actual custom ordered bears. They cannot be purchased. Your bear will be representative of the fabric you send to make a bear. With your purchase, you also give permission for me to use my photos of your completed bear for marketing purposes. I have many more photos available of bears. ESTIMATED TIME TO SHIP BACK TO YOU: This will vary depending on how backed up my schedule is when you order and when you get fabric/shirts to me. I will give you an estimated date for production when you purchase your order. I generally stay on track very well, but a glitch could happen now and then. I've never missed any deadlines.

DISCLAIMER: This product is not recommended for children under 3 years as a toy. It is not made specifically for children at all and does not incorporate safety features for children of any age. Please keep this in mind. My memory bears are meant to be a "memorial" and are not considered a toy.

PROCESS:

1. ADD TO CART this listing. Give me any specifics you prefer for your bear in the Notes section at checkout, especially for the Memory Patch, I need to know how this should be signed. Follow the complete purchase process on Etsy. Payments accepted on Etsy through Direct Checkout with your credit card, Google Wallet, Paypal and others.

2. Mail to me the shirts, etc. you want me to use. Please mail with a tracking number so the package can be found if lost. Please mail to:

3. Any substantially unused pieces of fabrics will be returned to you (unless otherwise noted by you) and will be accounted for in the shipping costs. Small and unusable pieces will be thrown away.

4. I will notify you when I receive the fabrics so you know I have them and will give you a time frame of completion.

If you live locally to me in Milton, WI, fabrics may be dropped at my home and bears can be picked up to eliminate shipping costs.
