Vintage from the 1970s

The Jielde LAK model has been the successor of the classic Jielde lamp. It was based on the same concept with no major differences but redesigned to have a 1970's look almost influenced by sci-fi.

This specific lamp on sale was carefully hand-picked in France and it comes in its original condition which is very good. It gives you a real and unique flavor of the original workshop atmosphere. It was manufactured in the 1970's and absolutely all parts and hardware are genuine and from that period.

The lamp is entirely made of steel except all the articulation joints are black painted. The very clever articulation mechanism allows full movements of its arms, it can also be rotated on its base and the lamp reflector can rotate freely at any angle. All joints are sealed by design to resist to (reasonable) liquid projections that may happen in workshops.

The lamp was skilfully checked and it is fully functional both electrically (including full grounding of the lamp) and mechanically.

Only some light wear signs (see pictures) which are normal based on its age and simply make it a unique item.

I insist this is NOT a reproduction of any kind, this lamp is fully genuine.

Characteristics and features:

- 2 arms model: upper arm and lower arm are the same length (40 cm / 15.7 in)
- Lamp reflector with original paint (inside diameter 18 cm / 7 in, outside diameter 20 cm / 8 in);
- Original porcelain bulb socket;
- Original power switch located on the lamp;
- Designed to be wall mounted
- Delivered with a brand new power saving halogen bulb (40W/220V, E27 screw mount);
- Condition: Very good condition new old stock, very minor scratch on the reflector (see picture)
