Handmade Bolt Action 30 cal Bullet Pen styled in Black Enamel Gun Metal and dressed in beautiful Birdseye Maple. Upgraded Parker style gel refill ensures pen writes, feels great. A very well balanced and substantial pen which will draw lots of attention with its bolt action mechanism.

The Bolt Handle is reversible on this pen. Handle will be moved to the opposite side of the pen at no charge if requested at time of purchase. The Bolt Handle is currently to the left of the clip. Position will be changed at no charge when requested above at time of purchase. Select Bolt Position desired above.

Comes with a black velvet drawstring bag for protection or presentation.

Finish: sanded through 12 grits up to 12,000 and then finished with 9 coats of a very hard and durable water and oil base finish which is sanded between coats to 6000 grit.

Replacing Refill: First, twist off the pen tip, then remove the old refill and spring (save the spring), place the new refill and spring in the pen, finish by putting the tip back in place.

Material Facts:
Turned Blank: Texas Mesquite. Somewhat straight grained but often wavy. Mesquite trees are short desert plants that yield boards with knots, splits, worm holes, etc. Woodworkers use the defects as points of interest in the finished pieces. Rich dark brown heartwood with wavy darker lines. This is a small, twisted, short-trunked tree, 20 to 50 feet high, or a large shrub. It is very slow growing, ill-shaped and scrawny looking tree with an exceptionally deep tap root.
