about the collection:
each piece is carefully formed, glazed, and kiln-fired by hand in my studio. our 'earthy' pieces are glazed with yellow and tenmuku glazes, and high-fired so the end result looks like grains of sand in beautiful patterns unique to each piece. finished with a thin coat of clear glaze to give it a smooth touch and soft shine. the pieces are a labour of love and the earthy colour brings warmth and comfort and a handmade charm.
