How do I know what size pillow insert I need?

To know the right size insert you need to purchase, start by measuring your shams. Pull tight along the outer seam and measure corner to corner. This should be done for all shams even if size is marked. As a general rule, your insert must be larger than your sham to correctly fill the corners of the sham and give them a nice even look. Small shams 10” to 17” typically need inserts 1” larger. Larger shams 18”+, typically need inserts 2” larger

What is your return policy?

If you feel like your inserts aren’t the right size or not what you were looking for, please send us a conversation. If it’s a sizing issue, we can help get the insert exchanged for the perfect size. If it’s not an exchange you’re looking for and you would like to return your purchase, we can walk you through the steps to get the pillows returned and refunded. Please note that any custom orders are non refundable.

Are synthetic down pillows good for sleeping?

YES! Many of our customers order synthetic down inserts for sleeping. People commonly say that these pillows offer a firm yet soft feel, leading to a great night’s sleep.

Can I wash my pillow inserts?

Synthetic down inserts, as well as any listing labeled “machine washable”, are able to be placed in the washing machine and dryer. The washing machine must be one without an agitator. The inserts can be washed on delicate, cold cycle, and tumbled dry on “air dry” or “low”. Tennis balls can be placed in the dryer during the cycle to help fluff the pillows back to normal.

How do I know what size bolster pillow I need?

Measuring your bolster sham is different than measuring your square or rectangle sham. There are detailed instructions, with photos, on our website at https://www.pillowflex.com/wholesale_bolsters_inserts.html. You can always send a conversation or email info@pillowflex.com if you have questions or want assurance that you’re ordering the right size.

My bolster came folded in the box. What should I do when I take it out?

Bolsters over 30" in length will be shipped folded to fit into the box. Refluffing is easy! Simply hold the pillow on it's end and shake the fiber down, switch ends and shake again. Repeat as needed.

The pillow I need is out of stock! Will it be back in stock soon?

If you see that an insert is out of stock, please send us a conversation and, if available, we will restock the listing so that your order can be processed.

Do you make custom size pillow inserts?

We do! If you need a custom size insert, please send a conversation with the size and type of fill you're looking for. Please note that custom inserts are not refundable and can not be exchanged for a different size. If you need help determining the best size for your sham, let us know. Once the size and type are determined, we'll let you know the cost, and if you'd like to proceed, we will set a custom listing for your insert. It's that easy!

Every Pillowflex Synthetic Down pillow insert is handmade to order in our American factory. Our down alternative pillows offer the look and feel of traditional down pillows while being hypoallergenic and cruelty-free.

These pillows can be styled with a karate chop look, adding style and elegance to your home decor. They have a plump appearance that will enhance the overall look of your interior shams.

From the first touch, you will immediately notice the heft and quality of our faux down pillow inserts. These pillows are not only full and heavy, but they are also the softest pillows you will ever touch. Pillowflex takes great pride in our pillow inserts, and we know you will appreciate their quality as much as we do.

Each alternative down pillow is made to order in Palmetto, Georgia, using American fibers and American-made pillow shells.

- NO ALLERGENS | This pillow is made from a synthetic down polyester fiber (aka micro denier, faux down, down alternative) that has the same feel and weight characteristics of traditional down, but is hypoallergenic.

- 100% Polyester Filling | Cruelty free | No feathers to poke you!

- This pillow is ultra soft and has the traditional karate chop look that comes with natural down.

- Ultimate in softness | Give your home’s shams a touch of class that will last for years | Use this pillow insert anywhere in your home that may need a pillow… couch, love seat, beds, day beds, reading nook. You will even love sleeping on it

- The cover (not removable) of this pillow is made from a polyester cotton blended cloth. Both pillow and fiber are hypoallergenic.

- Machine washable cold | Machine dry low | Has safety stitch to prevent unraveling of threads | Add tennis ball to drying cycle for extra fluffiness| Odorless | Fluff as needed | Lint and Dust Free

*****Note that your pillow insert should be larger than your sham to correctly fill the corners of the pillow out, I would recommend using these pillows in 18x18 shams.
