I turned this ancient pattern into a painting consisting of 51 pieces, using 7 separate marbling papers. I love combining ethnic patterns with marbling paper.
Each piece was hand cut one by one and transferred to the motif I had drawn, then I used plaster material to give the pattern. In between, I tried a different style with the resin I colored.
Before each pattern work, I draw the pattern and the marbling papers I want to work on, and then my works emerge with the help of imagination.
This work is unique and 100% handmade. The traditional style was applied at all stages, from the making of marbling papers to their assembly. Apart from wood and marbling papers, I also tried to add a different and modern style to the painting with the resin I colored.
