Small remnants, pieces, scraps, snippets of recycled vintage Indian sari fabric.

This assortment of recycled vintage Indian sari fabric pieces can be used in so many different creative crafts, including, artists, bead making, jewellery making, sewing, embellishments, embroidery, mixed media, scrap booking, collage, card making, junk journals, applique, decorations, dolls clothes, and many more imaginative projects.

The larger packs may contain bigger pieces of embellished fabric.
You will receive a little resealable bag chosen at random. Each bag contains a mixture of colours, designs, sizes, and shapes of fabric, and in a variety of different types of recycled sari fabric, including silk, net and chiffon. Some of the pieces of fabric are embellished with sparkling sequins, embroidery and pretty thread work. The pictures shown are an example of the sari pieces/snippets. Please note: not all pieces of fabric will be embellished.

To give an idea of what you might receive, I have chosen a little 20 gram bag at random. Please bear in mind that each little bag will be different and will contain different amounts of fabric. The bag that I have chosen at random contained 10 little pieces of fabric in different colours, designs and types of fabric. Some of the pieces are plain patterned fabric, some are embellished with sequins, thread work or beads. Of the 10 pieces of fabric, the smallest measurement was approximately 5cm and the largest measurement was approximately 15cm. Please note: this is an example of one of the 20 grams bags of fabric pieces/snippets, you may receive different amounts and types of fabric. The larger packs may contain larger pieces of fabric.

USA: we have arranged to include Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) where the tariffs are paid up front, and the cost is included in the total at checkout. This ensures a smoother delivery process with no tariff surprise fees at the time of delivery.

The sari fabric in our etsy store comes from recycling vintage, pre-loved sari's. We try very hard to carefully inspect each piece to make sure that only the best material is chosen. However, because the fabric is vintage, and pre-used, it is not unusual to see some minor signs of wear and tear, such as small marks, stains or holes. Wherever possible, these imperfections would be cut out, but sometimes this is not possible, especially when fabric is ordered in continuous metres, where the fabric is kept in one piece. We hope that if you do come across any imperfections, you are able to work around these. As mentioned, the fabric comes from cutting up and recycling vintage, old, pre-loved Sari's, and as a result, one or more of the fabrics edges will be a raw cut edge, especially for the thinner diameter fabric and fabric described as recycled Sari ribbon. Pictures are taken as close ups, using natural light. When taking pictures, we aim to get as close to the true colours as possible, but sometimes this is difficult. Also colours may vary between computer monitors.
