Skill level: Intermediate.

This pattern is a digital download meaning you will need to download and print the files yourself.

When a friend was pregnant it gave me the idea to design a warm, soft quilt to wrap around her and the baby when she had to get up at night to feed in the colder months.

The centre of the quilt is made from 36 blocks that can be arranged as shown here or in a myriad of other configurations. It's your choice!

It's not a project for a beginner but it is fun to make. If you're new to Bargello projects send me a message asking for the Making Bargello Projects document which goes into a lot more detail about how to make any Bargello project.

As the quilt is 174cm x 174cm (68.5in x 68.5in) it's large enough to wrap yourself in (and your baby if you wish) and also will top a double bed or queen size bed but with little or no overhang.

The same block can be used to make the other two single bed quilts shown.

The red and yellow quilt with the blocks set on point takes 32 blocks to make.

The pink and green quilt takes 24 blocks to make.

Please Note: As this pattern is delivered to you as a digital download, you will need to download and print out the files yourself to make the quilt. If you experience any problems please contact me via an Etsy conversation and I will do everything I can to help you resolve the issues.

If you search in my shop for the patterns after you have purchased any of them and their status is "Sold Out" you will still be able to access and download the files that you purchased.
