it's beautiful! I've tried several times to work it but the stitches look poorly defined. I tried 4 weight acrylic then 4 weight cotton. 4mm hook. the issue is me but would love thoughts on what I can do differently! thanks!

Cotton yarn will give a neater, more defined stitch than acrylic. I recommend continuing with the cotton. I think when you see the finished blanket you will love the results and the texture will look great.
