Highlights
6 natural Sunstone cabochons originating from Norway. These weigh a total of 39.50 CTS between the 6 stones and have been cut into pear shapes. These are fairly big pieces with an average weight of 6.57 CTS each.
We have placed these in a set of 6 which allows us to price these lower than individual pieces, giving our clients an enhanced value. All of the stones have a shimmering aventurescent effect, and have been beautifully polished to a high sheen. The coloring of the gemstones is a bright orange with gold undertones. There is no discernable damage or chips and are in excellent condition.

Many people are maybe more familiar with a related feldspar stone, moonstone. This has a similar play of color but instead of shimmering blues it is more like moonstone's fair sister that exhibits gold, reds and oranges.
A small percentage of sunstones will exhibit a phenomenal asterism effect of a moving star of light. This is a similar effect found in star Sapphire and star ruby.
All stones in our shop are naturally earth mined gemstones and are not lab created. All photos are taken naturally without editing.
