Disposal & End-of-Life Instructions:
When this product reaches the end of its useful life, please follow these steps to minimize environmental impact and safety risk:
1. Remove the embedded magnets from the product if possible. Dispose of the magnets separately according to local regulations for rare-earth or strong permanent magnets. They may interfere with recycling equipment or pose ingestion hazards.
2. The remaining PLA (polylactic acid) plastic body may be placed in standard plastic waste or recycled if your local facility accepts PLA. If recycling is not available, dispose it as non-hazardous plastic waste.
3. Do not burn the item (magnets may degrade and release metal fumes).
4. Keep magnets out of the reach of children and pets during disposal and avoid placing them in general recycling streams without appropriate containment.
5. If a magnet becomes damaged (cracked, flaked) treat it as specialized waste—avoid inhaling dust or fragments.
