Specifications
Kultige Stehleuchte, Modell „Toio“, wurde von den renommierten italienischen Designern Achille und Pier Giacamo Castiglioni entworfen und erstmals 1962 von Flos produziert. Die Toio ist ein beeindruckendes Beispiel für minimalistisches Design, das den kreativen Einsatz industrieller Materialien und Formen, inspiriert von den „Ready-mades“ von Marcel Duchamp.
Die Lampe verfügt über einen schlanken, schwarz lackierten Metallsockel, in den der Transformator untergebracht ist. Der sechseckige elektrische Stab ist verchromt und so gestaltet, dass er einer Angelrute folgt, komplett mit Schlaufen zur Führung der externen Kabel - ein markantes Element des Designs der Castiglioni-Brüder. The Lichtquelle ist ein original Autolicht, das die rohe und industrielle Ästhetik des Stücks verstärkt.
