The chairs arrived well packaged and intact. Unfortunately, the goods delivered do not match the description and the example picture at all. The backrests are NOT made of solid wood as stated and this is very clearly visible. Unfortunately, this was an expensive mistake for me. Positive: the incorrect description was changed immediately after my complaint

We sincerely apologize. You are absolutely right that we initially did not specify that the backrest is made of bent oak plywood. Your feedback helps us improve, and we are glad we could update the description promptly. Chairs with milled, curved backrests are very rarely made from solid wood, as they would have to cost a fortune. This would require gluing together a large piece of wood and hollowing out most of the material. In such a process, the loss of wood would be enormous, and oak is a very expensive raw material. The standard in manufacturing this type of curved elements is the use of plywood, which consists of thin strips of solid wood that are shaped into the desired form. Our product images are only illustrative. Due to the natural variations in wood grain and color, the appearance may differ slightly.
