About this item
The Quilt Clamp Stabilizer is designed to support and store your side clamps. Its primary functions include relieving the side clamps weight during the quilting process and after quilting, preventing side clamps from falling to the floor, holding them in place, ready to be used the next time. The Quilt Clamp Stabilizer can be used on all type of side clamps. The order will consist of a pair of Quilt clamp Stabilzer, one for the right side, one for the left side and four bungee cord locks and four Velcro strips. The clamps themselves are not included. It is available in various sizes. To select the appropriate size, you need to consider two factors: (1) the diameter of the back bar that it will rest on, which can either be 2 inches or 1.5 inches, and (2) the distance from that back bar to the front bar. For instance, if the back bar has a diameter of 1.5 inches and the distance to the front bar measures 24 inches, you would order a size of 1.5 x 27, the next size up from 24"
