Vintage baby afghan Daisy Pompom Blanket Crochet Pattern PDF 678 from WonkyZebra

This is a lovely little blanket pattern to crochet, especially for a spring baby-or for a special Easter outing!
It is a fun thing to make-with loopy daisy flowers crocheted together and decorated with pompoms!

The flowers are crocheted, but resemble the flower loom ones that were once so popular. You DO NOT NEED a flower loom - only a crochet hook!

( Retro yarn pompoms are very trendy now too...so this one is a good choice for those fashion conscious new parents ! )
You could also make smaller pompoms for a little less of a statement, LOL... or use purchased ones.
It would be nice to get any other children in the family to help with the pompoms...
..and of course use any colours you like –as is helpfully pointed out in the pattern's blurb ! (see images here!)

Please note: this is a different method /version to some blankets with chain loop flowers also seen online . The white loops are made in a crochet loop stitch variation ( ie not chained). However I do send my own photo tutorial for the stitch, plus another pattern ( for a dress) that has flowers made with chaining method for comparison. I will include another crochet flower motif pattern too if you would like one.
So there is plenty of choice for you to create a unique blanket.
