This is a beautiful platinum silicone weighted doll weighing 5 lbs. 3 ounces and measuring 17" long. She/he is made from 100% medical-grade platinum silicone. She/he is brand-new, fully painted on the face, chest, and belly button. She/he will arrive with a blank birth certificate, so the name will be left blank so you can name her/him. She/he has an open mouth. She/he has anatomy-correct body parts. You can even bathe her/him, but I would be very gentle when bathing since this is a hand-painted doll. The ecoflex platinum silicone makes the skin very real and very soft to the touch. Her/his cute little round head flops back and forth just like a real baby would. Her head is bald. The silicone doll has seam marks on the body from the silicone pour. The top of the head will have a small circle birthmarks created from the silicone pour. It is not noticeable and does not take away from the appearance of the silicone baby doll itself.

She/he wears real baby clothes in preemie size, and you can even purchase her/his whole wardrobe at your local department store. She/he will come with an extra outfit. The preemie size fits perfectly. Of course, she/he is wearing a real diaper. I have also included little extras in the box: a blanket, a pacifier, and a bottle.

I was eight years old when I received my first real newborn weighted baby doll from my mother, who handmade mine. I was so surprised that I fell in love instantly. I really wish I had this kind of silicone doll. But they were not around back in 1989! I loved shopping for baby clothes, and most of the time, my weekly allowance was spent on an actual stroller and other baby equipment.

I played with my doll for years. I still, to this day, have my last real baby doll, which I handed down to my 6-year-old daughter. She still gets as much play time as she used to. My mother is the massive inspiration behind my work on these dolls. She has since passed, but I love that she left me a gift I thoroughly enjoy day in and day out. I love the smiles it brings. I know they will bring many years of fun and loving memories to the children who adopt them!

NOTE:
Her paint is permanent but treat her/him gently. She/He is so unique and so lifelike in person. I make it affordable to own one of these realistic dolls. Never feel timid to roll play. It's good for kids and adults.

All my silicone babies may have minor flaws, and a few areas where the paint might be thicker. This is not an imperfection but just the nature of silicone dolls. This baby was not sculpted nor poured by me. I purchase the blank silicone kits and bring them to life by adding lovely details.
