Vintage rock band t-shirt of Triumph! This was from Triumph’s Allied Forces world tour back in 1981. This t-shirt was protected and kept stored away in a tote. It was with other vintage clothing collected from an elderly couple from one household. Clothing was washed previously by original owners, then stored away untouched for all these years. I inherited the collection nearly 6 years ago and left it preserved until photographing. This t-shirt’s design is very clean and free from any major fading. Printed writing on the back is clear and legible. There are no rips or holes in the t-shirt. The band tee is size small, manufactured within the USA and purchased at the concert during 1981. Great for a collector of old band merch! Triumph was a Canadian formed rock band that was very popular during the 1970’s-1980’s. Unfortunately during the early 90’s, their record label collapsed and thus the members disbanded. Bandmates wanted to have a 20th anniversary US tour in 1998, but member Rick Emmett declined his involvement. He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the band, and therefore the tour never did happen! The band received 18 gold and 9 platinum awards within Canada and the US, as well as nominated for multiple Juno awards. They have also been inducted into Canada’s Music Industry Hall of Fame in 2007, Canada’s Music Hall of Fame in 2008, and Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2019. The bands music genre has been considered to be heavy rock, heavy metal and progressive rock.
