How do I hang/mount my coat rack (or key rack)?

We install two sawtooth hangers on the back of each rack. To mount the rack, you would just hang it on two nails (hammered into wall studs) or use two drywall screws if you aren't able to hit studs.

I want a sturdy rack... how strong are yours?

KEY RACKS - Our key racks and jewelry racks are only meant for very light weight items COAT RACKS - Our coat racks are very sturdy. They can easily be used to hang multiple items, per hook, including things such as clothing, bags, purses, backpacks, cameras, sporting equipment, and tons of other gear

But what if I need my rack or hooks to be SUPER sturdy?

If you ... - will be hanging VERY heavy items on your rack or hook, OR... - need to mount your rack or hook to drywall, OR... - are still concerned about the strength of the rack/hook after reading the item description and reading through our FAQs ... we have a couple upgrade options: - DRYWALL ANCHORS: If you can't mount your rack or hook to wall studs and need to attach it to drywall, contact us and we'll customize your order to include drywall anchors (or you can purchase these at most local home improvement stores) - HEAVY DUTY HANGER: If you'll be hanging a lot of weight on your rack or hook, we can upgrade the sawtooth hangers to a heavy duty mounting system... contact us for more info on pricing for this upgrade

It says my item ships in 1-2 weeks... why doesn't my order ship right away?

Our lead time on most items is typically two weeks. The reason for this is that the things we make are handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces and are not normally built ahead of time. This means you are getting something unique that have been created just for you... not a generic, off-the-shelf item that has been mass produced :). A side benefit to this is that we can often make small modifications to your item if needed, without requiring a customization fee. Some alterations do necessitate an added charge, particularly those requiring significantly more time and/or materials to produce. But, whenever possible, we try hard to accommodate custom requests without passing any additional cost on to you! :)
