We do not resize rings. If you buy a ring which needs to be resized you must take the ring to your local jewelers. Once the ring has been resized I can no longer accept a return. Most rings can be resized one or two sizes up or down however it really depends on the type of mount and band of the ring as well as the age. Rings can be increase in size by stretching the band or cutting into the band and adding a new piece of gold or silver to increase band size. A ring can be made smaller by cutting into the band and removing a piece of gold or silver from the band. Some rings lend themselves better for this work to be carried out. Therefore, if you have any doubts please email me.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All jewelry and small collectible items will be packaged in a presentation box with drawstring pouch unless otherwise stated. Sometimes items are sold in their original box however this will be stated in the listing description if this is the case. Items too large for a presentation box will be carefully wrapped in paper and bubble wrap and either packaged in a brown bubble envelope or a brown cardboard box. We take care to make sure all our items are wrapped and packaged securely and thoroughly with a return address on the package.

Do you have a physical shop?

We do not have a physical shop and all our items are only available in our online shop.

How do you identify your items for sale?

All items are checked for hallmarks and makers marks etc., and stated in the listing if known. All Diamonds are tested with a Professional Diamond Tester. All gemstones are tested and identified for better accuracy with the following tools: Presidium Duo Gem Tester AGTPlus Gold Tester (sometimes an acid test can also be carried out) Jewelers 40x magnification loupe With antique and vintage jewellery, it is very difficult to exactly measure stones without taking them out of their mounts. With closed back pieces it's even harder. However, we use specialist tools which give us very close measurements, but it is why our descriptions usually say stone sizes and measurements are approximate.

Do you Reserve items and offer Payment Plans?

Yes, I can reserve items for buyers who make a down payment of 30% to show they are committed to the purchase. PLEASE NOTE: Layaway terms are based on item value. Please request terms. Layaway deposits are non-refundable. No discounts with layaway purchases. Yes, most items are eligible for a payment plan. I am very flexible with payments so as long as a down payment has been made the rest of the cost can be paid in full within 3 months. To use the Payment Plan you must reserve the item first. Once the item has been reserved for you we will discuss and agree a payment plan based on 2, 3 or 4 payments to be made and the date to be paid. I will create further "PAYMENT PLAN" listings for these partial payments.

Do You offer express shipping?

Yes. Some of the items with the highest cost will most likely be sent via Priority Mail. Fedex or DHL is available by request and will require additional charge.

Do I get a receipt for my purchase?

You can see a receipt on your account which you can print out. Just go to "You" located top right of the screen and then chose "purchases and reviews". Go to the relevant order and to the right you will see "print receipt".

I accept returns only if an item has been grossly misrepresented in the listing. Buyer pays return shipping, and the return must be approved by me and received within 7 days of purchase. The antique and vintage pieces we sell will have lived a long life; sometimes more than 150 years. Please keep in mind our jewelry is not in brand new unworn condition but comes to you with a history.
