For this design, we recommend medium-weight woven fabrics that hold their shape while providing a nice drape: satin, taffeta, duchess satin, silk shantung, cotton sateen, lightweight brocade, or jacquard. For a softer flow, charmeuse or crepe-back satin can also be used; in this case, adding a lining is recommended for structure.
