I designed this pendant by framing the copper coin in Sterling silver. It is reversible as both sides are open. It is completely handmade. The coin has been polished and a thin layer of renaissance wax (used in museums to preserve paintings and artifacts) has been applied to prevent tarnishing. Please note that copper tarnishes over time and the coin will acquire a natural patina which is attractive in itself and some people prefer this look. If you prefer the shiny look, just rub some toothpaste on the copper and buff with a soft cloth. I don't recommend cleaning it with anything that is acidic as this can stain the sterling silver.

It hangs beautifully from a solid sterling silver 50cm ( 19 1/2 inch) chain and is secured by a hand forged sterling silver clasp.
The framed coin is approximately 3 1/2 cm. If you require a different chain length please let me know in the notes to seller.
