INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

Here's a step-by-step guide to installing your EbikeBetter Display Cover for Lectric Ebikes Color Display:
Prepare the Shield:
Remove Protective Coatings:
Your polycarbonate ultra-clear shield has thin protective coatings on both sides. Peel these off carefully before proceeding.
Install the Shield in the Display Cover:
Insert the Shield:
Place the clear shield inside the EbikeBetter Display Cover. Ensure it fits snugly and aligns properly.
Attach the Bottom Locking Plate:
Identify the Bottom Plate:
Find the Bottom Locking Plate marked with “Front (then an up arrow) Bottom”. Ensure the words are facing up (towards you).
Align and Insert:
Slide the Bottom Locking Plate into the bottom slot of the Display Cover. Look for the keyed bump to help with alignment.
Secure the Plate:
Press the plate up into place until you hear an audible "click" and the bottom retaining bar sits flush with the bottom of the Display Cover. This might require moderate effort, so it’s helpful to hold the Display Cover steady with one hand while pressing the plate into position.
Attach the Top Locking Plate:
Identify the Top Plate: Locate the Top Locking Plate marked “Front Top”.
Insert the Plate:
Slide the Top Locking Plate into the top slot of the Display Cover. Push it fully in until the top retaining bar sits flush against the top of the Display Cover. Note that the top plate does not “click” into place; it should simply slide in snugly.
Final Check:
Verify Fit: Ensure both the top and bottom plates are properly secured and that the Display Cover is firmly in place.
