What is an apparel mockup? Will I receive a physical item?

An apparel mockup is a digital image used to preview and present your design on clothing. CanArtMockups sells digital mockup downloads for T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and other items shown in each listing. No physical clothing, printed artwork or framed print is shipped. Please read the listing description to see exactly which files are included.

How do I download my mockup files?

After your payment is confirmed, sign in to Etsy.com in a computer or mobile browser. Open Your account > Purchases, find your order and choose Download Files. Digital purchases cannot currently be downloaded in the Etsy app. If you checked out as a guest, use the download link in your Etsy receipt email. If your order includes a ZIP folder, extract it before opening the images. For help, contact CanArtMockups through Etsy Messages.

Which files, dimensions and colors are included?

The included file formats, image dimensions, garment colors and number of mockups depend on the listing. Please check its description and preview images before purchasing. A bundle includes only the items specified in that bundle. Do not assume that editable layers, PSD files, smart objects, every garment color or custom resizing are included unless the listing says so. If a detail you need is missing, contact CanArtMockups with the listing link before ordering.

How do I add my design to a mockup?

Use an image editor that supports the file format supplied in your listing. Open the mockup, place your own design on a separate layer over the garment, then adjust its size and position. A transparent-background design is usually easiest to place. Editing features depend on the supplied file; a JPG image does not include editable garment layers or smart objects. Check the listing for any specific instructions and software requirements.

What should I do if I cannot download or open a file?

First, confirm that your Etsy payment has completed and that you are using a web browser rather than the Etsy app. If the download is a ZIP folder, extract it before opening the files. Check that your image editor supports the supplied format. If you still need help, contact CanArtMockups through Etsy Messages with your order number, the file name and a description of the problem. Please do not send passwords or payment details.
